1 – Reservation:

In the left-hand menu, click on your chosen trip(s), go to “Registration Form” and fill in your complete details. We will automatically receive your booking request form by email. You will receive a response within two business days.
2 – Confirmation
The reservation is subject to confirmation . If approved, the exchange student will receive a confirmation email.
3 – Payment (Payment deadline: 60 days before the trip).

NOTE : The student is responsible for paying all applicable bank fees. Please contact your bank for information. International bank transfers must be made in US dollars (USD). This amount will be converted to Brazilian Reais (BRL) when it reaches our account.
In the DETAILS OF CHARGES section , select the OUR option. This means you will pay all transfer fees. If the full amount does not reach our account, we will charge the difference to cover the total cost of the trip and any applicable bank fees.
After the transfer is completed, your family must send us the ” Swift Form ” – proof of transfer – by email to intercambio@belobrasil.com.br.
IMPORTANT: The trip must be fully paid for up to 60 days before departure. No student will be allowed to participate in the trip if there are any outstanding payments due on the day of departure.
Students and families can choose to pay in installments. Payments can be made weekly or monthly, and the student chooses the amount to be paid in each installment. Please remember that the final installment must be paid up to 45 days before the start of the trip.
4 – Payment Confirmation
After payment is received, the student and their family will receive a confirmation email. (Keep it as proof of payment for your trip).
5 – Domestic Travel – from your host city to the departure city: the costs of your domestic travel to the official departure city are not included in the trip price.
Belo Brasil is not responsible for purchasing bus and/or plane tickets from your host city to the departure city or the final destination for return trips to the host city. It is the student’s responsibility to cover these expenses. Belo Brasil is not responsible for any refunds or changes in fees associated with the procedures for these trips (airline or bus tickets).
Belo Brasil is happy to assist in organizing your travel from your host city to your departure city. We can check the best options for your trip, whether by bus or plane.
Note : The Amazon Expedition is the only trip where it is mandatory to purchase the airline ticket through Belo Brasil.
6 – Arrival and Return Documents and Information
Immediately after payment, you must send us an email (intercambio@belobrasil.com.br)
7 – Cancellation
If the minimum number of participants required for each trip is not reached, Belo Brasil Tours reserves the right to cancel the trip, as well as reschedule and/or offer other itinerary options, by mutual agreement with the client. In this case, a full refund of the payment already made will be issued.
Any trip cancellation must be requested in writing. The cancellation will only be processed on the date Belo Brasil receives the written request, and the student will be subject to a penalty that will vary according to the advance notice of the written cancellation request and the agreed price, as well as the following percentages according to EMBRATUR Normative Deliberation No. 161/1985:
Important : All refunds will be processed within 30 days. The refund method will be the same one used by the student or family when paying for the trip.
If the student made the payment via International Transfer, the refund will be sent to the same bank account from which the money was sent, considering the amount received in Brazilian Reais (BRL). A 10% handling fee will be charged. All other fees involved in the transaction will also be the student’s responsibility. There are bank fees involved in Brazil and in the country of origin from which the money was sent.
